Flight Changed After You Filed the PNGDAC? What to Do

What the declaration is tied to

Unlike a visa, the PNGDAC does not grant a right that persists. It is a passenger declaration for one arrival — the flight, the date, the address, and the customs and health answers you gave. If the arrival changes, the declaration no longer describes it.

When to file again

File a fresh declaration if any of these changed:

Re-file when:

• The flight number landing in PNG
• The arrival date
• The first address
• Anything in the customs or health declaration

What a wrong declaration costs

In practice, a mismatch between the declaration and the passenger record is what turns a routine arrival into a conversation at the counter. The card is free and takes minutes, so there is no reason to travel on one that is out of date.

A service that filed for you should re-file at no extra charge when the change is not your fault — we do. If you filed yourself, just complete the official form again at pngdac.ica.gov.pg inside the 3-day window.
