Filing PNGDAC for a Tour Party or Group

Build the table before you open the portal

Group filings break when people work from a passenger list instead of an itinerary. The declaration asks about a flight and a date; those belong to the journey. Build a table first, then file from it.

Different flights are normal

Tour parties often arrive across several flights. Each declaration carries the flight its traveller actually lands on. Putting everyone on the first flight because it is tidier creates records that do not match the passenger manifest.

Addresses

Use the first night's address for each traveller. If the group splits between two lodges, file each person with theirs. A change of hotel later in the trip is not a reason to amend the declaration.

The filing sheet

Keep one row per traveller and share it with whoever is filing:

• Name exactly as printed in the passport
• Passport number and nationality
• Flight number and arrival date
• First accommodation
• Filed date and confirmation

Work backwards from check-in

Airlines are instructed to require the card before issuing a boarding pass, so the group deadline is the first check-in, not the first landing. Set the internal deadline two days before that and chase the last two passengers early.
